Post Christmas Thoughts..

Christmas time last year I was single (well not married anyway), childless, and my biggest thought was what I was going to get for Christmas.. Boy did that change!! Now I'm married, have a Son and a 6 year old Step-daughter, and now I am Santa. Talk about a head spin!! As you get older, it seems that the "magic" of Christmas dwindles. Less excitement, presents, and imagination.. And more reality. I have to say that this Christmas proved to me that the magic never really goes away.... It's just magic in a different way. True, I won't ever get to be a little kid leaving cookies for Santa and waking up at the crack of dawn to run down the hall to a tree FULL of presents again, But what I get now is better. Now I get to be the one who creates those memories for Gage. Sure he wont remember this Christmas or even the next few to come, but I will. Any who, here are the pictures I took this year:

His first teddy bear that Jimmy and I made for him at Build-A-Bear and his swing from Grandma and Grandpa Richeson. He got both of those presents before Christmas but I decided to put a bow on them anyway:

I realize that he can't open presents and doesnt really care/know what they are now, but what a great feeling having my Son on my lap opening presents on Christmas morning:
He wasn't sure what was going on, he's giving his dad the "Stink eye" in this one haha:

Waking up on Christmas morning with his stocking, He was in such a good mood. No fussing at all!:

Santa Suit! He wore this on Christmas eve AND Christmas day, SO CUTE!:

Our family on our very first Christmas =] We were on our way to go visit Jim's cousins who also have babies celebrating their very first Christmas!:

Relee & Adam, Terry & Logan, Jimmy & Gage. It's all of their first Christmas, how rad is that?:

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, wherever you were, with whomever you were with. Maybe in the near future we can get EVERYONE together for a big family christmas! We love you all! <3>
